This emulator is designed to replace the J518 ELV module in Audi sixth-gen A6, Q7, and C6 models. It addresses common steering column lock issues, offering a reliable and long-lasting solution for J518 module failures.

• This emulator does not provide lock/unlock functionality. To retain the original J518 module?s locking functions, please consider the J518 replacement module.
• The VVDI PROG dedicated cable is solely for programming the emulator board, not for use with the original J518 PCB.
• To replace the J518 module with this emulator, first extract the MCU data via soldering or other methods, then write it into the emulator?s MCU using the VVDI PROG dedicated cable.

Programming Instructions:

• Only EEPROM data is required; flash data is not necessary.
• In VVDI Prog software, select the “j518?2010-?0L01Y” option, regardless of whether the car model is pre- or post-2010.
