FCA Secure Gateway Module Bypass Box

Beginning with model years 2018 and above, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, and Fiat vehicles have been equipped with a security gateway module. This module aims to prevent CAN bus hacking over the 3G or LTE network. The FCA Secure Gateway Module Bypass Box, developed by Infotainment.com alongside OBD Genie, temporarily bypasses this security feature to enable specific vehicle features as needed.

Installation Instructions

To install the bypass device:

1. Locate your vehicle?s security gateway module.
2. Disconnect the two plugs from the module.
3. Connect these plugs into the bypass device.
4. Run the OBD Genie programmer. Wait for the green LED light to confirm successful feature activation.
5. Once completed, remove the bypass device and reconnect the security gateway module to its original configuration.

Important Information

This device should only be connected temporarily during programming with the OBD Genie dongle. After programming is completed, the security gateway module should be reconnected to ensure proper security for vehicle operations.
