PSA Peugeot Citroen Opel 2022 and Up Steering Lock Emulator Overview:

This device emulates the PSA ESCL unit and is compatible with 2022 and later PSA vehicles equipped with Electronic Steering Locks (ESCL) operating over FT-CAN.

The PSA Peugeot Citroen Opel Emulator is plug-and-play and requires no programming.

ELV is a mechanical failure that occurs spontaneously within the steering lock system. This failure is not related to any user error. When this fault occurs, the working key will not start the vehicle?even if the key itself is perfect?because the ELV Steering Lock fails to engage.

Normally, this requires a new ELV Steering Lock to be installed and programmed into the vehicle’s system.

Steering lock issues are very common in the ignition systems of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles. When the lock is faulty, the vehicle remains immobilized until a new part is ordered and installed.

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new original steering lock, we offer our economical solution: the PSA Peugeot Citroen Emulator. This product requires no programming; simply connect it and drive!

This emulator replaces faulty Peugeot Citroen ESCL units and is compatible with 2022+ PSA vehicles using Electronic Steering Locks over FT-CAN.

Installing the PSA Peugeot Citroen Opel Steering Lock Emulator:

1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Connect the ESL socket to our emulator.
3. The steering lock only operates when it receives lock and unlock signals.
4. Press the Start button; if the green LED lights up, the system is working.
5. If the red LED flashes, there is an error that must be cleared using a diagnostic tool.
