LED Status Indicators
- Green LED: Indicates the emulator is correctly programmed and in the ?unlocked? state, ready to start the vehicle.
- Red LED: Indicates the emulator is in the ?locked? state or that programming needs to be verified.
- No Light: Check the power connection or cable integrity.
Installation and Programming Instructions
- Turn off the vehicle?s ignition.
- Disconnect the original ESL connector from the steering lock unit.
- Plug the emulator into the ESL connector.
- Use a diagnostic tool to calculate the EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) password.
- Program the emulator using a compatible diagnostic device (e.g., VVDI, AVDI, etc.).
- Insert the key into the ignition switch. The green LED should light up, indicating the emulator is functioning correctly and the vehicle is ready to start.
If the red LED appears or no LED is present, verify the connections and reprogram if necessary.
